1 April, 8.30am – Dalethorpe to Annavale
2nd P/U: Yaldhurst Hotel
Farm or forestry tracks all the way, climb to saddle, climb to the Russell Range, lunch, descent to Annavale airstrip alongside SH 73.
Standards and Alternates Walk the same track as two groups.

8 April, 8.30am – Dry Acheron
2nd P/U Yaldhurst Hotel
An easy mixture of flat grassland, moderately graded natural stream verge, rocky dry stream bed and many stream crossings.  Lunch on river bank downstream of the two water storage tanks.  Poles DOC route

15 April, 8.30am – Monument/Mt Herbert/Diamond Harbour Domain
2nd P/U Halswell Library
A steady climb to the summit of Mt Herbert with some sections of the track being steep and quite long. A long descent to Diamond Harbour township and the Memorial Gardens.
Standards and Alternates Walk the same track as two groups

22 April, 8.30am – Flagpole
2nd P/U Yaldhurst Hotel.
Moderate farm walk around the foothills in the headwaters of the Selwyn River
Standard route: Undulating farm track above the Selwyn River, then a climb through pine trees and open country to the saddle for lunch. Continue up to Flagpole then down the farm road to the bus. The leader may choose the anticlockwise route.
Alternative route: Undulating farm track above the Selwyn River to lunch by the river. Return by the same route.
Statistics: 17.6km/14km, elevation gain 827m/594m, 4hr 50min/4hr 15min

22 April, 8.30am – Barnett Park to Pony Point    
P/U: Barnett Park
A mixture of gradual and steeper climbs and descents between Barnett Park and Pony Point.
Alternates: different track to Standards before lunch.
D/O: The Barnett Park car park.
P/U: Pony Point.
Stats: distance 15km, ascent 568m, time 4hrs 30mins

29 April, 8.30am – Camp Saddle
2nd P/U Yaldhurst Hotel
Craigieburn Forest Park Walk with a 300m scree run near the end for the Standards
Standard Route: Proceeds up the access road from the drop off to the Saddle, goes along the ridge to the scree slope, down the scree slope and return to the bus.
Alternative Route: Proceed up access road to turnoff to Lyndon Saddle (Luge Track), at the saddle climb Helicopter Hill for lunch.  Return to saddle turn right and continue down to Craigieburn Forest track.  Follow road for a few hundred metres then turn right into Siddle 73 track back to the bus

6 May, 8.30am – Huntsbury – Mt Vernon Park
2nd P/U Princess Margaret Hospital bus stop
A Port Hills Walk, with Steady climbs and undulating tracks followed by a long descent
Standard route: From the top of Huntsbury Avenue, follow various tracks to Sign of the Kiwi, Sugarloaf and Mt Vernon, eventually descending via Mt Vernon Farm Park and Bowenvale.
Alternate route: As above but not over Mt Vernon.
Statistics: 12.8km, elevation gain 500m, Time 4hr 15min

13 May, 8.30am – Flock Hill
2nd P/U Yaldhurst Hotel
Easy to moderate farm track to limestone outcrop area. Make our way through this over Flock Hill and return via a second farm track.
Both groups walk the same route as two groups.
Statistics: 12km, elevation gain 633m, Time 4hr

20 May, 8.30am – Glenafric
2nd P/U Woodend
Easy to moderate North Canterbury farm and coastal walk over undulating farmland, great sea views.
Standard Route: Returning via the beach.
Alternative Route: Returning via farmland.
Statistics: Distance 14km/13km, elevation 465m/375, Time 4hr

27 May, 8.30am – Rabbit Hill – Trig M 
2nd P/U Yaldhurst Hotel
Moderate high-country tussock walk at Porters Pass.
Standard route: Steady uphill grades through tussock, steady downhill descent to the saddle to join the Transmitter Hill track back to bus
Alternative route: As above OR at the top of Trig Hill take the gentle descent to hairpin bend at bottom of Porters Pass. Advise driver for this option as different P/U

3 June, 8.30am – Old Le Bons Bay Road
2nd P/U Halswell Library
Walk down from the Summit Rd to Takamatua, cross the Sculpture Park to Children’s Bay and return to the Akaroa Recreation Ground carpark Road.

17 June, 8.30am – Pony Point – Barnett Park
2nd Pick up – Barnett Park
A mixture of gradual and steeper climbs and descents between Lyttelton and Moncks Bay. Skirts Lyttelton’s northern boundary to connect with Major Hornbrook and Chalmers Tracks, then up to the Crater Rim Walkway and the gun emplacements. Down to Summit Road and Eastenders Track.
Standard Route:  From the Pony Point Reserve layby, follow the coastal track and continue past torpedo Boat Museum and Fort Erskine gun emplacement earthworks. Take the footpath towards Lyttelton.  The Leaders Guide identifies the road to take to reach the bottom of Major Hornbrook Track. Take Major Hornbrook Track to Chalmers Track, turning right into the quarry for lunch (or a bit further to a rise above Lyttelton – viewpoint).
After lunch complete Chalmers Track to the saddle where it meets the Crater Rim Walk-way. Climb left to the gun emplacements, descend to the Summit Road and take the Eastenders Track and the Barnett Park Track to the Pick Up at the carpark
Alternate Route:  As per Standards but starting from Corsair Bay.

24 June, 8.30am – Craigieburn Forest Park Ski Lodge
2nd P/U: Yaldhurst Hotel
A short section of gravel road followed by a climb through beech forest to the ski field base, and a return down the access road to SH 73.
Standard Route: A short section of gravel road to the Luge Track then up to Lyndon Saddle to join the gently climbing Craigieburn Valley Track to the skifield base and back down the access road to the junction with Hwy 73.
Alternative Route: Lead off on the Craigieburn Skifield Road, go right on to the Craigieburn Valley Track, round the head of the valley, through the ski field Base HQ area and back down the Craigieburn Ski field Road to the Hwy 73 junction
